This one is for the Dutchies! Curious about Groningen? Let me know and I will translate it for you!
As I wrote in an earlier post, I’ve been an active Instagram-user for a while now. It’s very nice to be there on a daily base and to follow creative people and brands that inspire me a lot. I also like to share my own pictures so I can show things I love and hopefully these posts will inspire others as well!
In this post you can see a selection of pictures that I’ve posted last September on IG. It was a great month with great memories! Want to see more? Feel free to have a look on my account! Meet you there!
The interior of a home says a lot about it’s residents. Not only the furniture, but the accessories play a part in that as well. Including the decoration on the walls. With that you can show a bit of what’s important in your live. And you can also create a certain mood. Family pictures can make it personal, art can say something about the things you love and quotes about how you (want to) live your life.
At the beginning of this year I decided to do some things that I’ve never done before. To experience new things! Going on a trip with just me and my camera was a wish that I’ve caried along for a while and last July I decided to book the trip. So a few weeks ago I spend three days on my own in Paris! For me this was really exciting, because I never went on such a trip alone. And I had a blast! I’ve been in Paris before, so I knew the city already, which made it a bit more easier to find my way in everything. It was very nice to stroll around with my own plans and my own schedual. I’ve taken a lot of pictures and selected a few for you to see!
Plants bring life into your home. With plants you can make your home more personal. There are a lot of types of plants, large and little ones, too much to choose! You have a lot of options with the numerous types of flowerpots and the way you style them in your home.
This year I wanted to do things that I’ve never done before. To develope myself and to step a bit more out of my comfort zone. I was thinking about starting a blog for a long time, but never had the guts to really do it. When I came across an anouncement of the Masterclass Photography & Styling by Meet the Blogger at the Vitra showroom, I decided to subscribe. And what a good thing to do!
One of my favourite brands is ferm LIVING. This Danish brand is founded by Trine Andersen who started a graphic design studio at first, which expanded into designing interior products. Trine could not find wallpaper with the kind of graphic design she wanted, so she designed her own collection. After an overwhelming respons, more products followed. Now there are products for every room in your house. The collection includes wallpaper, textiles, decorative objects and items for the kitchen, bathroom, office and garden. There is an awesome kids collection as well.
In my last post about Copenhagen I mentioned that the neighbourhood Vesterbro is worth a visit when in the city. It’s a nice area for a walk, with pretty streets and beautiful buildings. Besides the cafes and restaurants, there are a lot of nice shops!
Copenhagen was a wishlist item for a long time. A while ago this wish came true and I could discover with my own eyes how cool this city really is! Copenhagen has a lot to offer. Beautiful buildings, pretty parks, a lot of culture, but also a lot of Scandinavian design to admire and to shop! Voor interiorlovers a must visit destination for a citytrip! On top of it all there’s a great vibe in this city. In this post I will show you a couple of the many hotspots which are definitely worth a visit.
Summervibes are here! And I love it! This year we haven’t had much sun during springtime, so all the Dutchies were longing for summer. And now summer is finally here!! We even had a little heatwave last week! So that means we spend as much time as possible outside in our garden.
